JULIE JONES, ACC, CEC, CHRP

Julie Jones is a business coach and consultant with twenty years of experience in development of human capital and leadership potential. In 1999 she established her consulting company, Advantage Consulting Inc., and quickly built a diversified and loyal client base. As a Certified Executive Coach (CEC) she is a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF) where she is recognized as an Associate Certified Coach (ACC), and is also a Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP). As an active business and leadership coach, Julie has extensive experience in coaching high functioning leaders through turbulent and exciting times of change and is retained by individuals, entrepreneurial owners, and major corporations in Vancouver, Calgary and Toronto.

Julie is passionate about helping individuals cultivate their own personal and professional edges, as well as taking responsibility for developing others under their stewardship. Her positive approach, belief in continuous life long learning, and ability to see clients as fully capable and resourceful, makes her a popular coach and consultant. Julie is currently completing her Masters in Organizational Development with a specialization in evidence based coaching through Fielding Graduate University in Santa Barbara, CA.

In her capacity as an external consultant Julie works alongside internal business leaders and senior HR professionals guiding and managing organizational development projects. At Intrawest Corporation Julie was a preferred consultant where she established the HR infrastructure and managed multiple start-up situations and people programs for emerging business units, as well as spearheading policy and program design for large scale reorganizations in Canada and the US. At the Vancouver Convention and Exhibition Centre, a key landmark in the Vancouver Tourism Industry, she consulted and helped develop the organizational development plan in support of a $615 million expansion due to open in late 2008 in preparation for the Olympics.

Originally from Wales, Julie resides on the north shore of Vancouver and is active in her community. She is a volunteer coach with the Minerva Foundation and sits on the Executive Board of the West Vancouver Soccer Club. She enjoys traveling, hiking, kayaking and skiing with family and friends.
